My daughter and I had a very tasty meal here. I had Canton Noodles ( soft fried noodles with vegetables - about $10.50 and my daughter ate Chicken Chow Mein with soft fried noodles - about $15.50. We both really enjoyed our takeaway meal. The service was very freindly and good. They told us how long it woukd be for the food to be ready and their advice was very accurate. The seating looked nice as well. They have a buffet every week from Thursday to Sunday as well. I certainly would recommend this restaurant, the standard of which was somewhat surprisingly good for a country town.

The last time I stayed at the Apollo, it was September 1991 and not a lot has changed. This time I stayed in room 16. Although the TV, bed and wardrobe are reasonably new, the whole vibe of the place certainly took me back in time. I didn't eat at the restaurant this time, so I can't comment on that. Overall I am happy with my 2 night stay but for $115/night, I thought the room could do with a re-vamp in fact, the entire complex needs a facelift. The cleaners need to pay more attention to the build up of dust around the place. Like on the bedside tables, lamps and window sills etc. Other guests at a party I attended did say their room looked like it had a recent upgrade, so perhaps my next visit will see an improvement.
