Maroo Korean Barbecue Restaurant is a gem hidden in Church Street Top Ryde NSW. Has a lot going for it - great spot, the meals come quickly, its relatively inexpensive and not so noisy, you can have a conversation? The menu is pretty simple with the lots of variety to choose from, Hard to go wrong and they come out quickly and sizzling. With the greatest respect, Staff were friendly, but the English skills of the staff are pretty low so my suggestion is to keep it simple and don’t try and explain how you want it done! They often struggle to remember to bring drinks so remember to confirm what you are ordering. However with such an exquisite experience we are looking forward to going back soon.
Came hehe for Lunch for the first time with a friend. The food was very authentic korean and cannot fault prices are also very good and can't complain. But what did bother me was the amount of flies inside the restaurant which made me feel like I was eating outside in a fly ridden park. I don't enjoy swatting my food inside a restaurant. They really need to look at getting fly screens on the front door or otherwise keep it shut. Also service could use a smile.
