If you are worried about sharing the line with a huge crowd...don't. These guys can serve those good hearty pub meals with efficiency and a smile. There are different options available each day and we are gluten and dairy free but had no problems. Drinks are good range and of course reasonable prices. Even out there in the middle of nowhere. Don't miss the public bar. We were even lucky enough to catch a live band out in the garden.
I'm pretty fussy about my steak, so I usually prefer to cook it myself. But this one was really good - cooked to perfection, and a fabulous salad (yes, salad, here, in the hot dry country!!) with it. Good food, not just a tourist experience.
