One of the classic place close to old town in Lille, I went to eat on Sunday evening, not many restaraunts are open. The service is fantastic, the food on
this is a review not served over the restaurant meals in the interior, but the pre-ordered meals for its in-house bowls club. the meals are not prepared by the bowls club, but by the caterers. bowlers are not allowed to bring food, as this is a used premise....sandwiches, wraps and salads are available. unfortunately I gave up on order sandwiches, since these are in the regular dry stale tasting brot with actually not bad fillings. this time I ordered an salate for $8. this usually comes with two pieces salami, 1 piece very small chicken and a half disc sink. I just ordered ham, but had to give it back because I had given the stock standard plate. it was corrected with apologies. I have included a picture of my salat, which is made up of two half pieces, 3 pieces cut tomato, 4 pieces cut gurke and some crushed salate with a bit dressing. totally inconspicuous for $8. Come on, kirwan, get your act together. get a good name for her eating around the clubs in townsville, instead of being a laughing act. they have the facilities, the excellent bar staff and know how and that should be reflected in what they serve the visitors.
