After not going for a few years, I was surprised to find that nothing about the place has changed during my visit last month. Same food, same décor, same annoying squeaking door, and same disinterested staff (who all need hairnets or at least have their hair tied back when serving food). Whilst the sandwiches are made fresh each day, everything else is deep fried or prepacked. Coffee is still gross and the tables are still filthy. The café is also way too crowded and poorly configured. Hopefully they update it when they do the rest of the station…
nothing particularly special about food but they have the fast service down to an artform. easy to jump off train and grab something before train leaves.
