Coffee was cold and weak, the staff were very rude too. The cafe was empty (understandably) and while I waited 15 minutes for my coffee, I saw none of the staff doing anything. No clearing tables or preparing food or anything, just talking.

After not going for a few years, I was surprised to find that nothing about the place has changed during my visit last month. Same food, same décor, same annoying squeaking door, and same disinterested staff (who all need hairnets or at least have their hair tied back when serving food). Whilst the sandwiches are made fresh each day, everything else is deep fried or prepacked. Coffee is still gross and the tables are still filthy. The café is also way too crowded and poorly configured. Hopefully they update it when they do the rest of the station…

We have brought your fish & chips regularly and always been very happy, l have always have the flat head that has been tails and delicious. ( when available) Well tonight ( Sunday) we got our usual order, Instead of flathead tails there was some big chunk of fish, with brown flesh & disgusting. That along with very over cooked dim sim, potato cake & flake. In all honesty the worst fish & chips we have experienced in years. Flathead was definitely NOT flathead, l even phoned & was told definitely flathead, well l eat a lot of flat head this was not flathead. Really a terrible disappointment.

Moved to the area and keen to check out the new 'local'. Bar staff were top notch, beer garden was good, other patrons friendly.Unfortunately the meal was terrible and way overpriced. We chose crumbed lamb cutlets and salmon patties both of which were way over cooked, burnt crumb on the outside, yuck.I would return again for a quiet drink but not a meal. So many other places within a short walk with wonderful meals.

What a lovely find this place was. Cannot fault a thing. Welcoming, efficient, obliging, friendly staff.Lovey location and well presented clean establishment. Efficient service, meals and drinks came out quickly and not only looked good but tasted great too.Fresh ingredients and great ambiance. 10 out of 10 for the background music. Honestly everything was perfect. Will be going back to try one of their pizzas next. We had scrambled eggs with bacon and the breakfast pizza. YUM.
