If you are looking for a really good steak then Sabrosa Steak House is the place to go. They have a really good Reef & Beef meal plus lots of choice on the menu, chicken, pasta etc. The staff are amazing, very polite and cheerful a special thanks to Lisa who is a great asset to this business with her smile and helpful manner. Their is great parking around being next to the Moncrieff Theatre for entertainment and lights in the park across the road at night to make a perfect setting for a meal, I strongly recommend you try this place.

Wirth the closure of the almighty Sizzler this place is probably your next best stop, and the steaks are generally pretty good, with hearty meals served in a bistro-style setting. As it's one of the few better places on the main road they do pack them in here, so don't expect a lot of elbow room or privacy. And it does seem to be all about table turnover with meals served pretty quickly on laminex tables. Functional, yes. But it's certianly not a place to linger or have a romantic interlude. It's the service here that could be most improved and would make a big difference to the dining experience. Sure the inital ordering was fine, and they were pretty good on the upsell and explaining the size of the meals. I guess the rest of the night was just country-style and rather relaxed. We just found it a little unattentive as we had to ask several times for drinks. But I think a bit of the friendly efficiency of the 'big smoke' could yield bigger bottom line rewards for this restaurant. There's a very limited wine list, which is really disappointing. With such a glut of great wine in Australia at rock bottom prices they could do a lot better. Maybe they need the help of The Wine Matchmaker. Our other big disappointment were the sauces ... the bernaise had curry in it although the chef said it was turmeric for colouring (either way, WTF?). And they don't seem to know what Dijon is. Seriously folks, get yourself a catering tub of Maille Dijon. It's readily available and will make your steak taste a million bucks. I wouldn't even mind paying a buck extra for this delicious condiment. In the end the big question is, would we go back again?Probably, if I was hankering for a steak. But I'd want to be hungry and not go somewhere to linger and relax. Oh and I'd take my own Dijon.
