Visited this establishment after visiting Hinkler House and the Bert Hinkler Museum here in Bundaberg. Cafe was very busy with what appeared to be a strong local clientele. (this is a good sign) What my wife and I experienced could only be described as first class. Service was prompt and efficient, Food was cooked to a high standard and the coffee was excellent. Yes a great place to visit.
This is one very busy place, the day we visited it had a coach tour in,making wIting for meals just that tad longer. You can buy normal cafe food or restaurant style.

First time here and had the smashed avo, feta, spinach on toast with something crispy on top- sensational. Chai latte was pretty good as well. Service quick and friendly.

Canteen corner is a family owned take away store that is based inside one of the industrial estates in Bundaberg. The people are friendly and welcoming but the best part is the quality and quantity of the foods. They buy local and cook fresh! The schnitzels with Bacon Mushroom Sauce is Awesome!

Walked up from our caravan park to have breakfast & enjoy a coffee.. quite a common outing for me when travelling. However management at this establishment needs to look at their staff attitudes & customer service. On entering this store I walked up to counter with no other customers waiting. Two staff members noticed me but were too busy initially to serve me. Then the male server said " be with you soon??"He & his counter staff went outside the store to do something while I waited & waited. The female came back inside & answered a drive through while the male server walked up to the coffee door & punched the door open!! Then proceeded to make a coffee while I was standing there still waiting to place my order. After another few minutes of bad behaviour from the coffee maker I gave up & walked out in disgust. Management needs looking at their shop staff here as this behaviour would not encourage a return of customers. There were only about 6 to 8 people there sitting both inside & out. Not what I would call a busy store. Would I bother returning.. not ever to this store. Terrible service with terrible attitude and staff that need more training.. serve the customer at the counter & take the money with smiles. Sorry to have to write a rotten review but the owners and management need to know what goes on with their investment.

simon and was the one who served me. he welcomed me with a great smile and excellent customer service. simon helped me save $10 by making the 3 pizza deal for $40. I used my sister card when I didn't mean it. that's such a big excuse. 5 stars on God
