It was to be a happy occasion celebrating my husbands birthday with 12 members of our family. We brought our champagne and wine to toast the occasion and when we arrived found out in no uncertain terms that the corkage fee was $2.50 per person. per bottle Ludicrous when you consider that would have cost $30 per bottle . C'mon WORONGARY THAI, play the game.Of course that was unacceptable to our party and we all opted to leave the restaurant without ordering our meals. Crazy for this restaurant to adopt this attitude when you consider they missed out on at least $300 worth of meals from our party.I understand that some restaurants do charge corkage and we would have been prepared to pay say the usual $8 per bottle .. thats bad enough but there was no relent. We would not go back there on principle. and neither would the rest of the party
Never had to wait ages for my food, great table service and huge portions !food always tastes good and veggies are fresh
