Decided we needed a change from the RSL so lobbed here on a Thursday night. As usual went for the daily special which turned out to be a fisherman's basket and a steak for $24 inclusive. The steak was quite thin so it was immaterial to have asked for medium rare, came with pretty good chips and side salad. The fisherman's basket was of the frozen variety - my wife ate it all which might mean it was good or maybe she was hungry. All in all we wouldn't rush back there, but all the locals seem to like it as the joint was nearly full.
Great place for low cost meals, good place for catching up with fellow travellers, Good entertainment and pleasant staff.

Visited for dinner on Tuesday 18th July. What a huge disappointment, we were expecting something special and instead received two bland meals, the pork and beef were over cooked and the sauces watered down, the rice was rubbish. The meals were less than entrée size. Ok it was only $10.00 but I expected much more than what we got. You certainly got that special meal wrong. The best part was having a cheesy garlic bread afterwards to fill us up.

Great food and fabulous service, and an outstanding view. What better combination could you ask for. My favourite this month is the Belgian waffles with lemon curd, meringue crumble, raspberry coulée and whipped butter. All meals both sweet and savoury are excellent.

I delivered it. $20 for a tablespoon and half chocolate mousse. a teespoon of ice, they call the manager, michael. He asked him if he thought it was reasonable. he said it's $15 in the business and I think it's worth it because he's a mousse guy. the mousse would have cost less than one dollar in budget. not sure where the rest goes. he said eat everything. spoiler alarm, mousse is not even average. had a better baggage mousse from woolworths. I just wish I could post a photo.
