The regular influx of takeaway orders bodes well for coffee quality and it didn't disappoint. Excellent coffee, limited but tasty menu presented well, with friendly and efficient service. The wall of photos of Si Bro's "family of regulars" and their preferred order, interspersed with coffee-themed memes, will leave you smiling.
Tried to explore the Lazy Monk Café but the information from Zomato is not correct so they had not open yet early Sunday morning at 7:00am. Turned around to the nearby café Si Bro down the road. Not a very large venue but interior set-up is cosy. There were three staff running the show and I can imagine the business should be fine. Indeed, there were lots of take-away coffee orders while I was waiting for my light brekkie. Ordered my flat white and croissant with ham and cheese. Coffee was average in terms of strength and smoothness. Croissant was not bad and I could feel the crispiness mixed well with the melted cheese after toasted. However, if the croissant wasn't not burnt from over-toasted, this review definitely would achieve higher mark.....
