Staying nearby and asked what was available locally and were told we had a choice of 2 places, this being one of them. We arrived with not very high expectations and were pleasantly surprised. They were fully booked but they managed to squeeze us in. The people were friendly and helpful and the food tasty and good sized servings. So if you are in the area give it a go.
Wow what a pleasant surprise! We attended the 6 course dégustation dinner as part of the harvest festival June 2017. This is an ordinary club in a country town but what an effort they made. Each course was excellent with a matching wine. The lamb shoulder was the tastiest and most tender lamb we've had anywhere for a very long time. The service was friendly and energetic. Bravo. Really well done guys. We'll be back.
