The chips were not too bad, but, overly salty BUT the chicken burger was not worth eating, the bread on the burger was mushy, the lettuce was limp and I would not go back again. Easy to lose a customer, very difficult to get them back.

Seriously, this KFC confuses me. I don't know what it is about this KFC but every time I drive past it, there are queues out the street lining up to go through the drive through. The food is nothing special. It's just KFC but WTH Cessnock? Why the crazy queues? The food is no better and no worse than any other KFC I've been too worldwide.

It was a complete accident that we discovered this restaurant but since discovering it, it's become one of our favorite go-to places for pasta and for lunch. We go at least once a week. They have a good array of fresh pasta choices, coupled with simple but delicious sauces. It's been wonderful every time we've eaten there. I highly recommend their pasta. Try any of them. They are all delicious.

Felt like some Chinese food on a recent trip to the Hunter Valley. The food was plentiful quickly prepared and very tasty. The staff were friendly as well. At a cost of $11.90 a dish we were surprised. At home we pay at least $18. and the quantity is much smaller.

As a group of 6 friends, we visited Purple Hayes for lunch. Most had the lunch tapas platter ($18) which was excellent. It was presented on a slate slab and included at least 5 different taste items. All were tops. 1 of our group had the nachos, which were also very good. Most also had sweets, which were very nice, finished off with good coffees. Venue was very good, and staff friendly and helpful. Recommend a visit for lunch if you are in the area.
