After having eaten here a number of times in the past and having a good experience, we thought we'd take our friends who are up from Melbourne.Food has gone down hill, one of the courses a 500g rib eye, was full of gristle and largely inedible. We were disappointed so thought as we'd previously had good experiences, we would provide feedback - maybe the supplier had changed and the quality was no longer as good, allowing the chef to remedy the position going forward.What commenced from that point onwards could only be described as contempt towards the customer, patronising and extremely rude. We left feeling angry, upset, disappointed and vowed not to return again. As our cab driver eluded, the place charges high prices, has a captive market but really is producing nothing special. In future I will head into the city where there is far more choice, a better service and quality food.

3rd and last visit. Ordered the rib-eye for 2. Full of gristle and sinew. Told the waitress and clearly sent back a plate full of inedible gristle. Was patronised and told by the wait staff that rib-eye is a fatty meat. I cook rib-eye on a regular basis, I know what that cut of meat is like. When I insisted that the meat was an inferior product the staff again proceeded to tell me that fatty is not the issue. My husband went to speak with the chef/owner who, did not want to hear about the issue with his food but was only interested in telling him that his wife was rude and aggressive. I've never been rude and aggressive in a restaurant in my life, clearly the staff and managment in this restaurant aren't interested in honest feedback, only in being right. Mind you, the rib-eye was $79! An expensive meal particularly if you can't eat it!
