A place locals and visitors would previously avoid is now a focal point for Cleveland. For a start the renovations undertaken have transformed this ugly ducking into a pretty swan. The Sands is now an enjoyable place to eat, drink and kick back and listen to the world go by with a little acoustic accompaniment from the bard of the day. The food on the menu is well thought out and suits the entire family, from the carnivorous meat eater who demands STEAK at all costs to the connoisseur of seafood, or the vegetarian of the group. And the kids aren't missing out either with drinks and dessert thrown into their ample selection.To a fault the staff are polite and helpful and make a visit enjoyable for all.
Nice food but a bar that has no wine glasses ....I was asked to look in fridge to pick a wine there was a wine list ..... but not in bar told to go into another area Not much better in restaurant meal on table before I was told that didn't have wine that I ordered from wine list .....Come on Coles ..........train your staff
