Dropped in for coffee and light breakfast. Coffee was good, however, ordered Fruit Toast and was surprised to get two slices of fruit toast out of what looked like a Tip Top loaf, for $9.00. Bit over the top really.
The home made baked beans for breakfast were possibly the best I ever had, nice setting, good coffee and service. Other good looked good Rio

We used go to this small cafe all the time when it first opened last century. While the cafe fit-out could now definitely do with an update we were pleasantly surprised with the food in our first visit for years.Actually it was a Groupon deal that got us back through the door and therefore (at half price) excellent value. We had Grilled Fish with quinoa salad and fish and chips. Plus there is a wide range of healthy drinks. Also If you are vegetarian you will have much more choice than at other places. The location right on Coogee Beach is great and there is quite a lot of free parking spaces right outside. (Obviously fills up at busy times)Not the hippest choice in Coogee, but worth checking out what's on that day's menu if you are in the area

This is a busy eat-in and takeaway restaurant. The food is tasty and well-priced. Service is quick. Not a place for a romantic dinner but good for a quick meal. There are plenty of vegetarian options.

I ate at this restaurant, now named "Sushi Goi", on a Wednesday in mid March 2013.It was busy, and I had to queue for a couple of minutes for a seat. It was the usual sushi train deal: take a plate off the conveyor, eat, and the waiting staff count your plates at the end. The chefs prepared dishes in front of us.There was a good supply and range of fresh sashimi and sushi, and other Japanese treats, circulating. The tuna and salmon sashimi and California rolls were particularly good. The dumplings were terrible. Japanese glutinous rice sweets were yum.The whole experience cost me $32 for a very satisfying meal (no drinks). Generally, it's not a place for a romantic sit-down meal, but for good, fresh fast food straight off the production line, it gets my vote. Recommended.

The food was great value and delicious. I had the roasted vegetable salad, sweet potatoes chips and pulled pork taco. Loved it all. Plus 2 drinks and steamed veg and still under $50. Winning. Best bit of night was the live band downstairs in the bunker. Cool
