Visiting the Doctors Surgery, Dentist or doing some supermarket shopping and want a coffee and a light meal? this is a handy venue with ample seating and friendly staff. The selection of pasteries and light meals is good and soups are also good.

We had an hour to kill and this little cafe was suggested to us. There were "reserved" tables at 8.00am (!) Definitely a favorite with locals, many of whom interacted with each other - and us!Coffee was STRONG (no complaints there), the Croissant didn't look the best after the toasting in the cafe-style press (but the taste was great and the fillings were generous) and the flan was lovely.The queue for take-away coffee at 8.25 was managed efficiently and quickly.We kept bumping into the guy throughout the centre, delivering coffee and breakfast goodies to the businesses on the first level.

We were happy with our fresh Vietnamese food with lots of veggies! Great place for vegetarians to go and for vegans and gluten-frees as well. Just make sure you tell them what you can't eat. However this restaurant is not the same as Saigon Place. They share an address on google but Cuu Long serves traditional Vietnamese dishes and it isn't fancy at all. Saigon Place looks more like fusion from the reviews and the photos show fancy plated meals including dessert. Perhaps Saigon Place is gone?? I'll definitely come back to Cuu Long, they were great!

We found this Thai restaurant accidentally after passing other restaurants with people waiting outside. It is upstairs, easy to pass by on the footpath and it was empty but we thought we would give it a go. What a delightful surprise! The service was excellent, the food was very tasty and the prices were quite modest ($50 for two glasses of wine and two Pad Thai, one prawn and one beef). A few more people arrived later but it was a far better restaurant than many with queues but in more noticeable positions. Worth visiting and I will be returning myself.

A must try! This cosy little Japanese restaurant is near my office. It has a unique ordering system from the table using an iPad where you can touch the items you want and then it arrives at your table!! Delicious Japanese food - you can"t do wrong. It's a popular spot with the locals.
