A restaurant with average French food and abysmal service. The appetizers were a good presentation of the finer qualities French food, but it went downhill. Waiting times for each course were exceptionally high. It also seemed some of the staff, which were sometimes unfriendly, and lacked in the support of food and collected our cutlery. A more common less than Satifactory service and will not go there again.
Paradox is a hidden gem located on Falcon St Crows Nest and has been in business for over 20 years. No wonder, the small French menu is an affordable $55 per person for three courses (a second entree is offered as an option and complimentary, which makes it four courses) and it's BYO. The chef has perfected his menu and it comes out quite quickly and with little fan fair. Almost like all the effort is put into the flavour. It isn't fancy, just really delicious food and in a homely setting. I really loved it mainly for the incredibly reasonable price for the quality of the food. If you are looking for uber fancy French restaurant, this isn't for you. However if you are looking for a great meal, BYO and without feeling poor when you walk out, this place is PERFECT! foodiemookie.com

A great neighbourhood spot for breakfast. One of the best freshly squeezed OJs you can find in the lower north shore. Service is always friendly and the hash browns always hit the spot.
Read the full post on the link below

treveatsworld.wordpress.com

Usually frequent About Life in Cammeray, but whilst in the Crows Nest area, just dropped in for a quick takeaway! This is a much larger store with an incredible range of so many brands. Love the ready to go salads, kombucha, poke bowls, vege lasagne, pasta salads, curries, array of cooked veggies and noodles etc. Everything is so wholesome and colourful! Grabbed the rice paper rolls w tofu ($7.95 which is really creamy as they add coconut cream) and the rice paper rolls w chicken ($7.95, added almond satay sauce). So yummy and delicious!

It's hard to go wrong with a chain restaurant ... I know when I go to a barbecue, it's great. Therefore, the different typically lies in customer service and cleanliness. And on these bases crows meets nest grill in the square. Super-friendly, clean tables always available, and fast service.
Grief And of course the burgers are great!
