As a loyal customer for many years I have gone there for various family dinners. This week I have see the quality of the food disappointing whilst the prices increased. I really think that they are overpriced for pub meals. Only have dinner if you want an average meal.
Had a birthday get together with family here. 8 people in total. Great food but a little overpriced for me. Nonetheless the service was very good considering the large number of people who were there..We went on a Sunday for lunch and if you're going in a large group, make sure you book a table well ahead..the place gets pretty full so its unlikely you'll get a table if you just walk in.Plenty of areas for the kids to play, with animal displays, a rock climbing wall, a climbing play area and arcades with games...the best I've seen at any pub.A band plays in the afternoon with music that just settles the mood and not too loud. Plenty of tv's around the place including a really large one, that will certainly fulfil any sportsperson.The bistro gets busy so order early when you get there or the queues get really long. Typical pub prices - overpriced but really nice.Give this place a go..
