Not too sure if this is great value....you decide......Kilpatrik Mushrooms....take two small mushrooms,remove stork,fill with balsamic vinegar and teaspoon of diced bacon and microwave till not quite warm $14...yes thats 7 bucks per bite......add to this the Deep Fried Camambert.....take four teeny tiny pyramids of cheese covered in breadcrumbs and microwave till almost defrosted and serve with a piece of lettuce. $16......and to complete the trio of disasters....sorry...starters....half a Turkish bread roll sliced .... you guessed it....barely toasted....and serve with a mix of oil and vinegar....just $12....yes readers thats all three for just 40 bucks......thankfully we were staying at the local campsite so we had a cuppa soup to fill us up once back......and the Moral of the story is ... listen to the young lad at the campsite who recommended the feed at the Royal cos sometimes TripAdvisor bollo can leave you sorely pissed off !! !
Good pub food. Friendly staff. Comfortable front bar. Typical pub menu with reasonable prices and a good size meal.
