Managed to find a parking spot and this was the first cafe we came across. The waitress got our order wrong...twice... We had to go up to the counter and correct it after we looked at the menu and realised we hadn't paid enough for what we had asked for. Food was ok. Nothing spectacular. Maybe breakfast is not their forte?

This was the only place still open at night in Kuranda, and doesn't look like much so wasn't sure what to expect. But the food was very good, and the staff were helpful. Had a salmon (on special) and a curry. They have gluten-free options too which was helpful.

Tried to eat here at 12.45, told service would take at least 30 mins and basically tried to dissuade us from ordering. If you can't cope with more than 3 customers at lunchtime don't bother running a café

This is an unpretentious pub, and the small but diverse menu is great for a family.Meats were high quality and salads were super fresh and generous. Presentation was also surprisingly well executed and easy to eat.Soundtrack included classic hits, Hendrix and stones - coupled with fresh tap beer and a very drinkable selection of pub wines - couldn't ask for more.

lunch (4 people) on Wednesday 16/11/22. I asked if the cake was made in the house, I was told that the cake came from dubbo nsw! the cake has traveled from dubbo to kuranda, this is a sweat! the carving is a glazed chicken bug made of pressed chicken, similar to the woolies can be bought. unbelievable. disgusting. I asked the waitress why not the cook makes her fresh. the waitress answered, we are just a small restaurant and we get very busy, they have no time to cook it. what do you want for $20? So they say it's better to sell a low-quality product than add a few dollars for a decent meal? the waitress said I was confrontational and no one has ever complained about the carving, the customers love it! I've looked at the reviews and it has 4 stars, maybe some customers get what they deserve. I think if they're after decent food, they look different. I would welcome the owners to answer.
