Admittedly the place was busy as the AFL was in town but our take away was one of the worst in a very long time. The cheese was almost like some kind of spread, the house special certainly wasn't special and the meat lovers was a blend of flavours of mystery meat. Three and a half slices of two large pizza's eaten the rest binned. The place gets ok reviews, maybe we were just unlucky, I won't try again.

Music, tunes, haircuts, coffee, and one of the physicals locations from where you can collect tickets for Falls Festival (Marion Bay).  Burn the candle at both ends. Bite off more than he can chew Carrying it too far. Just some of the proverbs that  come to mind when I think of this place. It's gross to have haircuts near your food. I wouldn't choose it voluntarily.  The coffee bad too so what's the deal? Don't like the wait staff/hairdressers/baristas/people selling vinyl (they do it all) they are rude, not very kind. Sorry gor the negativity but it is not to my taste at all.

Acropolis Souvlaki Bar

It's the same address, but this is no longer 'Acropolis Souvlaki Bar' (which used to make great takeaway food). It is now 'King Of Kebabs' and we strongly recommend they be avoided.We paid $10.40 (!) for one regular-sized kebab that was not made with lamb sliced from those vertical spits but was some sort of cheap, processed meat with had an indistinguishable 'meaty' flavour.We don't know if the business has just change their name or it has been taken over by new owners, but ever since then they have gone from good to just awful.I can't think of an alternative place to buy a kebab or souvlaki in Launceston, (there used to be a great one called "Kebab House' on George Street but I believe they are permanently closed), but we would highly advise not patronising this business.
