What a night we had at the FGT Conference Awards dinner at the Tail Race Centre.The company was great, the meal was great and the keynote speaker who is a local vigneron turned brewer was fantastic!All meals as they were alternating ones were delicious and there was very little swapping going on at our table as the (traditional) steak and chicken fare were both 1st class! Entree and dessert were also wonderful and the wines from a local vineyard were sensational!Well done Phil, Ian and Doris for a fantastic conference.
Saturday lunch. Everything was very good. The service from the young ladies was very friendly, prompt, and efficient. We were seated at a nice table in the corner with great views out through the large glass windows. The venue is really nice and clean and well presented. We were given table water and glasses as we sat down. The toilets in the café were also clean. Unfortunately, my Big Breakfast was missing the hash brown and the Vienna bread which was listed on the menu for this meal. Our only other issue is that the prices on the menu are a bit expensive, and a bit more than we would usually pay so we would not be regular customers.
