Madtongsan is one of our most visited restaurants in Sunnybank and definitely the most visited Korean restaurant by us in the area. When we sat down for dinner on a Monday night there were only a few other tables dining in with us, but halfway through the meal the restaurant became full.

My boyfriend loves the spicy beef stew and gets it every time we come. I'm not a huge beef eater but he kept telling me how tender the meat was and how it is cooked perfectly and never chewy and dry. For myself, I've ordered something different each time coming here. On the most recent visit I only felt like soup so I had the kimchi jjigae and thought it was really tasty and the perfect amount of spice. Both of the soups were boiling hot when they came out of the kitchen. Soups came with a serving of steamed rice and there were generous servings of tofu, pork and kimchi in the soup and made me feel full having the soup alone. We thought the 3 side dishes that come with the meals are the perfect companion to the spicy soups and we love that you can ask for refill without charge.

The service was pretty good and fast. Some staff could speak good English and others couldn't. I do believe with other reviews that the branch in the city is better but overall had a good experience and we will continue to come back here when in Sunnybank.

Stopped by for a coffee - ordered a large green tea latte for $4.50. It was perfect, not sickly sweet and didn't have to wait long. Next day I came back and ordered a white caramel coffee. I thought it was even better than the green tea latte! Wanted to have some waffles as well but was running out of time so will definitely try those out next time we are here!

This neat little sushi train is situated in the middle of a road junction in the midst of a commercial area in Underwood. They offer a similar experience and pricing to Sushi Edo, except without the order taking ipad and the credit card surcharge.

Ambience: clean and tidy. Comfort chairs than Sushi Edo. I liked that their music wasn't too loud. Unfortunately, it was a really quiet time when I went so there was no atmosphere.

Food: quite a solid effort on their part. Everything was very well done. No complaints there. I particularly liked their karaage, cuttlefish nigiri and the aburi scallop nigiri.

Service: had to be proactive getting staff attention half the time to put orders in as the train didn't have many things to choose from. That aside, I found the staff to be quite friendly and willing.

Verdict: wish it were busier and the portion sizes a little bigger. Overall, quite good; prefer this place over Sushi Edo but it's not as convenient for me.

Went there on a Saturday around noon and was fairly busy. Only had dim sums and there was a good choice as well (beef, pork, chicken n vegetarian). Custard dim sum and radish pieces were really good.
Happy with all and will visit again.

I love Malaysian food and this place was recommended to me by a friend. We tried it out for dinner one Sunday night and it was so busy. We have been back since many times to try different dishes on the menu. It’s a nice Malaysian place and the food is very good. The noodle dishes are excellent, skip on the dessert though – it tastes a little weird. The prices are good and there is plenty of onsite parking.
