This little shop is the only one who is specialized in serving the pungent and spicy duck neck and duck head in Brisbane. This type of store is very popular in China because lots of people from northern provinces left their original places and work at othes for living. They like to have these homey foods to cure their homesickness. Had lunch at this place and surprisingly found production is good. I had the chef suggestion Duck Noodle and they gave me another cold dish of cucumber and bamboo skin with compliment for promotion. Both are superb and it only costs $8.90

To be honest, I ate here because Kinn Thai was not yet open, I was hungry, and this place had room for the pram. But I was so impressed and happy with the choice!<br> <br> Firstly, you can't deny this is a gorgeous spot, it backs up against the water features in the mall and is very chic and modern inside. There were panel heaters suspended from the ceiling which were a welcome feature as it was quite breezy in the restaurant.&nbsp;<br> <br> We opted for a collection of grazing plates (six for $49) to share and not one dish disappointed. If anything was not as good, it was the scallops, but that was only when compared to the other stellar dishes.&nbsp;<br> We had the dips with bread, meatballs (big and juicy), scallops, halloumi (in a gorgeous tomato sauce with chorizo, my favourite here), aranchini (cheesy goodness), and mushrooms (juicy and so flavoursome with deep-fried parsley on top). Plus a fattoush salad. All were beautifully presented, I was beyond impressed! Too often I find that beautiful restaurants have no substance behind their looks, but not the Palms.&nbsp;<br> The service was friendly and helpful, although I did wish the waiter was dressed a little nicer, his casual dress and demeanour seemed a bit at odds with the rest of the scene.&nbsp;<br> <br> A surprising gem when you want to eat somewhere a little bit finer and prettier when at Garden City.

I ordered a menu of Balinese chili fried duck and a portion of rice at a price of 13 Australian dollars. The food served is really delicious, the fried duck is delicious without the fishy smell and the Balinese chili sauce is quite spicy. The atmosphere of the restaurant when I came (afternoon time) was not so crowded, but the spatial arrangement was quite comfortable, because the two mirrors on the wall made the room seem wider. This restaurant provides a variety of Indonesian food menus. worth a try for those of you who come to queensland and miss Indonesian food
