Sake Bar Kura from Melbourne Opening hours
We are happy to be open for you. Our current opening hours can be found in the table. Never stand in front of closed doors again! Just check in advance if we are still open. Because nothing is worse than looking for a parking space, then walking to the restaurant to find out that you arrived too late / too early. Just check online if Sake Bar Kura is still open.
It was a nice enough dinner, but for the money it's no comparison to other japanese restaurants I've dined in. A nice touch is all the chefs give a big shout out to you when you arrive, as a way to welcome you. I thought that was cool. Service was pretty good. Food was good but really nothing special to write home about. I probably wouldn't dine here again. Apparently it's just been taken over by Neil Perry who started Rockpool.
Look the food and the service is good. The thing is that they're doing Japanese street food, but it is too refined, too polished (sounds daft right?) It's just a bit pretentious, completely ignoring the principle of wabi sabi, which is the best of Japanese street food.

This was only our third venture into a Nando's site as we live far from any of their sites, and this was by far our best experience to date. The young lady who took our order was very helpful and friendly, and explained a few different meal options for us. Our meals arrived quickly, plentiful in size and packed with flavour. Our waitress offered us more peri peri salt or additional sauces. Wonderful family experience

I had gami a couple of times in her other couple, but here was the tteokbokki suppe too watery, japchae was not as tasteful as the other two. the service was also not as good as the other two. it would be great if they could improve here.

The one and only time I will eat here. Service is so nonchalant to the point of being indifferent. First, the server got my order wrong - perhaps if they turned the hipster music down they might be able to hear their customers? Second, my Super Bowl was drowning in insipid, watery tahini soup rather than the promised tahini sauce. I ate the chicken and salad ingredients because they were actually fine (although the roasted peppers were not "fresh" - they came out of a jar). Third, when I pointed out to the manager the runny sauce, all she could say was " it's not supposed to be like that. It won't be like that next time". Too right - I won't be going back again.Barely an apology, and no attempt to make amends for creating such a poor first impression.Businesses like this don't deserve your custom, and don't deserve to survive....

Modern Australian, Mediterranean, Gluten Free Options, Restaurants
The RAB restaurant is located in the Grand Hotel in Spencer Street. It is a magnificent old building which has been done up to retain its old world charm. The meal we had was delicious. A small but very nice selection of meals with reasonably priced wines.Recommended
