Its a store, a cafe, a bank, and a post office with a great range of local food and wine. Its not glammed up, it looks like it did 50 years ago. Staff are friendly and efficient and its a great place for a break if you're driving in the Surf Coast hinterland, or on the inland road to Lorne.
Homemade sandwiches, proper coffee, chips and slice for a family of five for $30! We loved the fact that the sandwiches and toasted croissants were fresh and simple. Much better than any service station prepackaged rubbish and not fast food either which is the usual highway robbery tactic of the highway service stations.
