Our whole family loves it here as we get to eat gluten free and vegetarian delicious food prepared with such care. The owner is so friendly and helpful. The lentil pies are my favourite, but the cakes and biscuits are so good too. There are also buckwheat loaves made on the premises for sale. Yum

Used to be fish and chip night once a week back in the day and it was always our local the Prossie fish shop. They still have the prime chips but minimum is minimal and the flake used to be thick and fresh ! But it was a thin fillet and definitely not worth the price. Apparently this is standard now , feed back from friends . Might try once more b4 I head back over the West .

Ate in the Bistro after a function next door . We had read some iffy reviews so stuck with the Flathead , chips and salad . Pretty safe with that . As expected , Asian flathead ? aside , it was ok . Pricey for what you get but that's pubs these days I guess . Beer was cold and well priced . We were the only people at our end of the table who did not complain . How can a 'rare ' steak come out with no pink whatsoever ? Roast so tough that it as almost inedible and the grilled fish was returned and replaced with the Mekong Flathead . Service was good and staff ok but whoever was on the bench that night in the kitchen needs a refresher course . A shame as it could be a lot better with a little more effort .

I was really disappointed this time around, I ordered the "Canadian Breakfast" on the menu it stated served with Delicious Pancakes, fresh cream, ice cream, maple syrup and bacon! When it came to the table it was served with Waffles 1 piece of bacon and about a teaspoon of Maple syrup in a jug, and the waffles were stone cold and tough. When I took it back to the counter to let the staff know of the mistake and the coldness, I was told by a staff member that it is a pancake mix just made in a waffle machine because it's easier! And I'm guessing it was the manager who was standing there as well (didn't give good customer service when I went to order) all she did was roll her eyes at me! So I get my meal fix (well that's what I was expecting) the waffles were microwaved with the bacon on top so now my bacon is like a rock not remade and served to what the menu stated! My partner also had breakfast (ordered the same as he did about 1 month ago, he even has a photo of the breakfast from a month ago) it was half the size this time! Still the same price! Only thing nice there this morning it was nice and warm! Sorry but it was really disappointing...
